Job Description

The primary function of the food safety inspector is to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of food products from food processing facilities through systems of inspection, approval and certification.

Competencies:
1. Strong work ethics, practices and integrity.
2. Superior public relations.
3. Fluent in written and spoken English and working knowledge of Spanish.
4. Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel and use of email.
5. Knowledgeable of the agricultural field.
6. Healthy and in good physical condition.
7. Excellent motor coordination.
8. Favourable cognitive capacity for the development of activities that involve observation, attention, memory, concentration, and sense of orientation.
9. Affinity for and skilled in handling and working with canines.
10. Easily adapt to different work environments.
11. Highly motivated team player who takes initiative.
12. Valid class “A” driver’s license.
